01 — A little about me

An artist’s eye, an operator’s mind.

I’m Xi—a bilingual professional who happily moves between fine art, cultural organisations and international publishing. I notice the tiny details, ask the useful questions and enjoy turning complicated processes into something everyone can follow.

Adaptable across cultures. Careful with details. Always curious.

With a BA in Fine Arts from Renmin University of China and an MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy from Goldsmiths, I pair visual sensitivity with practical coordination. Today, I help publishing partnerships travel smoothly across Asia, working with customers and teams in more than ten countries.

02 — Places I’ve made things happen

A career with a few delightful plot twists.

From publishing desks to cinema aisles and art platforms, I love the behind-the-scenes magic that helps good ideas find their people.

Volunteer · 2023

I volunteered at the festival, bringing my love of cinema into a shared cultural experience.

Film, across cultures

Trinity Film

Marketing Assistant · 2022

I researched the films the company distributed and followed how they moved through the market, wrote up analysis reports, then built marketing plans and content for WeChat, Weibo and Facebook—helping each title find its audience.

Words with purpose

Red Scarf

Planning, editing and checking stories so creative ideas reached readers clearly and responsibly.

Art in conversation

Gallery Weekend Beijing

05 — When I’m off-duty

Looking, listening, wandering—and pressing play.

The things I love keep me curious, resourceful and ready for the unexpected.

Always at the cinema

I’m a crazy fan of films. Arrival, Interstellar and My Neighbor Totoro are among my favourites. At the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, I once watched four films in a day without stopping to eat—that’s how much I love the magic of a good story.

Art, museums & piano

I keep looking closely: at paintings, places and the small stories people carry. Playing piano gives me a quieter space for patience, practice and expression.

A camera, a map, and probably too many tabs open

30+ countries, countless little moments.

I love taking photographs as I travel. I’ve tried Couchsurfing, learned to feel at home in different cultures, and become an “expert” at finding satisfying flights and hotels—on holidays and business trips alike. Give me a destination and I’ll happily plan the itinerary, too.
